In-line vapor-phase brazing for mass production

 

R&D VaporTech is a long-standing specialist in vapor-phase brazing for the electronics industry. Founded in the United States in 1996 and part of the IBL Group since 2013, the brand develops and manufactures vapor-phase brazing ovens in Germany for the production of SMDs (Surface-Mounted Devices). IBL has been the global leader in vapor-phase soldering technology since 1987.
Designed for mass production, the HS12/08-D combines the advantages of vapor-phase soldering with a compact, continuous-production architecture capable of operating 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. This system offers fully automatic in-line operation and redefines the standards for conventional reflow ovens.

 

The HS12/08-D is a continuous-flow vapor-phase reflow oven featuring advanced process control systems, with precise regulation of the reflow profile (AVR system), as well as optimized reflow cycles and conveyor systems for high-throughput production.
The HS12/08-D doubles its productivity compared to the HS12/08-S thanks to its two parallel conveyor lines. In addition, the equipment’s modular design and the systems developed significantly reduce maintenance requirements and ensure very high machine availability.
All production parameters, alarms, and process steps are centralized within an integrated industrial PC and displayed on a 21.5-inch touchscreen HMI, facilitating cycle monitoring, operational traceability, and production performance analysis.
